Felicia Porrazza, MDA, RDN, LDN, owner and Registered Dietitian at PorrazzaNutrition and co-chair of the Greater Northeast Philadelphia Chamber of Commerce Young Leadership Network, has joined the faculty at Bucks County Community College as a part-time instructor.
Felicia is teaching the class Nutrition with a Dietitian, an introductory nutrition course for college students. Felicia is working at the college’s Newtown Campus.
“I am excited to work with college students,” she said. “With this course, I am helping nursing majors fulfill their nutrition requirement for their degree. I also have students who are going into the fields of exercise science and nutrition.”
Felicia is a Registered Dietitian with a Masters Degree in Dietetics Administration and owner of PorrazzaNutrition. Within her practice, she conducts one-on-one counseling (both in-home and in-office), work-site wellness programs, cooking classes and business coaching for dietitians and students.
Felicia previously worked as both a retail and community dietitian where she created and implemented nutrition programs for various ages. Her goal as a dietitian is to help her clients and students bridge the gap between knowing what to do about healthy eating and taking the steps towards doing something about it.
At the GNPCC, Felicia also co-chairs the Women in Business Committee.
