‘All Roads Lead to Inclusion’ October 2, 2017 to October 6, 2017
Greater Northeast Philadelphia Chamber of Commerce’s Inaugural Year Participation

The Greater Northeast Philadelphia Chamber of Commerce (GNPCC) is participating in the Philadelphia Minority Enterprise Development (MED) Week, October 2, 2017 to October 6, 2017.

This is the first year the GNPCC has been asked to participate, and they eagerly responded “yes,” according to GNPCC President Pam Henshall.

The theme of the week is “All Roads Lead to Inclusion.”

The GNPCC, in conjunction with Community College of Philadelphia, will host a panel of professionals to discuss marketing, branding, social media and networking on Wednesday, October 4, 2017, starting at 8 a.m., at the College’s Northeast Regional Center, 12901 Townsend Rd., Philadelphia, Pa. 19154.

Philadelphia MED Week celebrates minority enterprises in the region and highlights efforts to help minority-owned businesses grow. The organizations involved in this effort seek to provide the next level of building blocks to support the advancement of minority business leaders. This is the first year in the 95-year history of the GNPCC that we have been invited to participate.

“There are a number of powerful and productive partnerships we have made here,” said Ms. Henshall. “First, our relationship with Community College of Philadelphia continues to grow and get stronger. Second, the GNPCC is a proud supporter of MED Week activities and, frankly, it’s thrilling for us to actually co-host our own event in the Northeast.”

The flow of the panel discussion will be:
8 am – Registration, breakfast, networking
8:45 am – Welcome, self-introductions, and GNPCC announcements
9 am – Panel discussion begins
11 am – Panel discussion ends

Each panelist will have 15 minutes to present. Of course, there will be time for questions and answers.
