Steve Hirst was happily retired when we reached out to him and asked if he would assist us in helping the GNPCC grow our membership and advocate for our member’s needs. Always up for a challenge and a strong supporter of the GNPCC, Steve is our Director of Membership.
Steve brings to the GNPCC a wealth of professional experience as a business owner, marketing manager, and B2B sales consultant. Utilizing his Sales and IT background, Steve was awarded two e-commerce related U.S. Patents:
• A System and Method for Anonymous Observation and Use of Premium Content by Indirect Access through Portal. (U.S. Patent 7,111,078)
• A System and Method for Presenting Information in Accordance with User Preference. (U.S. Patent No. 6,401,094)
Before retirement, Steve was President of MA’AT inc., a business consultancy that helped many SMBs improve sales by increasing close ratios while attaining higher margins. Before MA’AT, he was Vice President of Sales and Marketing for American Communications Systems Inc, growing the company’s sales from 1M to 16M and becoming the largest independent telecommunications company in the Delaware Valley.
Family is most important to Steve. Father of three and Grandfather to three, he looks forward to more grandchildren that he can spoil and sugar up.
