James Carty

Jim Carty, Chief Security Officer (CSO), Philadelphia Division of the FBI
Mr. James Carty is currently the Chief Security Officer (CSO) of the Philadelphia Division of the FBI, where he is responsible for the security program covering all functional areas of security; physical, personnel, and information.  Jim also has the Certified Information System Security Professional (CISSP) certification.  He is a veteran of 36 years in the law enforcement community and has additionally been an Adjunct Professor of Computer Information Systems (CIS) for 18 years at Community College of Philadelphia (CCP) where he has taught classes in computer networking, digital forensics, and computer and network security.  Jim has both a Bachelor of Arts (BA) and Masters of Science (MS) degree in Information Systems Management from Holy Family University.

 

 

Richard Turzanski, Protective Security Advisor, U.S. Department of Homeland Security
Richard Turzanski is a Protective Security Advisor within the Protective Security Coordination Division (PSCD) in the National Protection and Programs Directorate at the U.S. Department of Homeland Security (DHS), the office within DHS responsible for providing assistance in security for our nation. Protective Security Advisor  (PSA) Turzanski began his DHS career in July of 2009 as a Chemical Security Inspector (CSI), responsible for conducting inspections and audits pursuant to the Chemical Facility Anti-Terrorism Standards (CFATS) 6 CFR~Part 27.  CSI Turzanski functioned as a regional field reviewer and evaluator of high-risk chemical facility site security plans; analyzing physical, technical and cybersecurity issues. CSI Turzanski was assigned to ISCD/FOB Region 3 which covers the States of Pennsylvania, Delaware, Maryland, Virginia, West Virginia, and DC. In March of 2017, Turzanski was elevated to the position of PSA and remained in Region 3. The mission of the PSA includes, but is not limited to: protecting and strengthening the resiliency of the nation’s critical infrastructure and key resources, which are assets, systems and networks integral to the nation’s economy, security and public health.

PSA Turzanski’s experience includes 25-years of service in the Philadelphia Police Department (Retired).  In Mr. Turzanski’s last assignment, he held the position of Sergeant in the City of Philadelphia Police Counter-Terrorism Operations Unit.  Responsibilities in this position included but were not limited to Hazardous Materials Technician Response (Department Lead), Weapons of Mass Destruction Response (and instruction), Intelligence Section Supervisor, Emergency Medical Technician, SWAT Operator, and Hostage Negotiator.

Ann Marie Carollo, Vice President, Retail Market Manager, TD Bank, America’s Most Convenient Bank
Ann Marie joined TD Bank 2 years ago and is currently the Retail Market Manager for the Philadelphia Region. She has over 25 years of experience spanning Investments, Commercial, Operations and most recently the Retail Line of Business.

Prior to joining TD, Ann Marie spent nine years at Bank of America as a Market Manager in the Middlesex and Monmouth Regions and before that, Ann Marie was with legacy Commerce Bank in New York City playing a key role in establishing presence in that market, opening over 40 locations throughout Manhattan, and the 5 Boroughs.

Ann Marie holds a Bachelor’s degree in Economics and English from Montclair State University.  She is extremely passionate about community involvement, specifically providing support to the HIV/AIDS community and the continued war against substance abuse among teenagers.

Eloise Young was named Senior Vice President of Strategic Planning and Information Services after serving as the Chief Information Officer of the Philadelphia Gas Works for several years. With this promotion, her responsibilities expanded to include strategic planning, business process optimization, and enterprise program management. A native Philadelphian, Eloise is a Citizens Planning Institute graduate who loves her city and enjoys doing volunteer work for area community groups.

Theresa Hummel-Krallinger is a well-respected senior training professional and performance consultant, but it is her work as a humorist and motivational speaker that sets her apart. Her experience as a professional stand-up comedian enables her to add fun and humor to her consulting and training work.

She is on the non-credit faculty at Temple University, where her popular course, “What’s Your Point?” is a key requirement for their Project Management and Leadership certificate programs.

Theresa is the Past President of the Greater Philadelphia Chapter of ATD (Association for Talent Development) and is the Past President for a local club of Toastmasters International. She was appointed to serve as a member of National Advisors for Chapters in ATD. She facilitates the monthly “Meet the Author” program at the Pyramid Club. She has been a featured speaker at numerous regional and international conferences for ATD, SHRM (Society for Human Resource Management), DIA (Drug

Information Association), Training Directors Forum and others.
