Gabrielle Sellei

Gabrielle Sellei, Esq., Founder of Sellei Law, LLC
Gabrielle Sellei, Esq., is Founder of Sellei Law, LLC, a Philadelphia-area firm representing a diverse range of clients to whom Gabrielle provides comprehensive legal and business counseling. With a diverse client portfolio, a significant part of Sellei Law’s practice is devoted clients in the arts, entertainment, sports and affiliated industries, for whom Gabrielle has successfully negotiated and completed deals for television appearances, video games, reality/unscripted television programs, documentary film rights, sports exhibition matches, celebrity endorsements, literary rights and the resolution of copyright and other intellectual property infringement claims.

Gabrielle is a sought-after speaker on copyright, contracts, start-ups, non-profit entities and other legal issues affecting artists, entertainers, and entrepreneurs.  She conceived and serves as a course planner and faculty member of the Pennsylvania Bar Institute’s (PBI) popular Off to a Good Start (Up) continuing legal education program.  Past teaching and speaking engagements include Drexel University’s Entertainment & Arts Management program, the Maurice H. Kornberg School of Dentistry at Temple University, PBI’s Real Estate Institute, the Pennsylvania Academy of the Fine Arts, Moore College of Art & Design, University of Pennsylvania Law School, The Center for Emerging Visual Artists, as well as numerous business, legal, networking and arts organizations.  She is a past member of the Boards of Directors of Philadelphia Volunteer Lawyers for the Arts (PVLA), The Clay Studio in Philadelphia and the Storybook Musical Theater in Abington, PA.  Gabrielle currently serves as a member of the Collections Committee of The Clay Studio and as a volunteer lawyer for PVLA.

A graduate of Boston University School of Law (J.D.) and Wesleyan University (B.A., Art History), Gabrielle practiced labor, employment and corporate law in two large Philadelphia law firms following graduation from law school, and then served as in-house counsel in the corporate and securities law department of a Fortune 100 company based in Philadelphia.  Immediately prior to founding Sellei Law, Gabrielle was a partner at a Montgomery County law firm for many years, where she founded that firm’s Arts, Entertainment & Media practice group. Prior to attending law school, Gabrielle was a consultant to artists and fine arts galleries throughout New England.

Monique Gilchrist

Monique Gilchrist, MeD, Counselor – Assistant Profe3ssion at Community College of Philadelphia
Monique has worked in the Philadelphia region in the field of education and career development for the past seventeen years. Currently, Monique is a Counselor/Assistant Professor at Community College of Philadelphia. In this position, she provides academic, career, and personal counseling and also teaches College Success Seminar and First Year Experience courses. Prior to joining Community College of Philadelphia, Monique assisted clients with achieving their post-secondary education and career goals while working at non-profit organizations throughout the City. In addition, Monique is an active board member for the Marion Luckers Kidney Foundation. She is skilled at presenting workshops on career development, goal setting, and stress management.  Monique believes her career is more of a calling. She seeks to assist others in reaching their goals and maximizing their potential in life. She believes that all people are capable of making a positive change in their lives.  Monique earned a B.A. in Speech Communications from Temple University and an M. Ed. in Counseling in Higher Education from Widener University. She has also completed post-graduate work in Clinical Psychology at Chestnut Hill College.

Sonela Skenderi DO, FACC

Dr. Sonela Skenderi is a board-certified cardiovascular disease specialist at Nazareth Hospital and is a member of Mercy Cardiology at Nazareth at 2701 Holme Ave., Physicians Office Building, Suite 100, Philadelphia, PA.

Dr. Skenderi specializes in diagnosing and managing acute and chronic cardiovascular disease and actively promotes a healthy lifestyle to reduce risks of a cardiac event. “Being involved in your own health is the best advice I can give,” says Dr. Skenderi. “Always ask your doctor about your blood pressure, sugar and cholesterol levels. Talk to your doctor about what these numbers mean and how you can reduce your risk for heart complications. This is especially important for people who do not see a doctor that often. “

Dr. Skenderi completed a fellowship in cardiovascular disease at the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey School of Osteopathic Medicine in Stratford, NJ. Dr. Skenderi is a Diplomate of American Board of Osteopathic Medicine in Internal Medicine and Cardiovascular Disease with Certification in Nuclear Medicine and Echocardiography.

Alison Rigby, MS, MA, MT-BC at Cancer Treatment Center of America, Philadelphia

Alison Rigby, MS, MA, MT-BC

Alison Rigby, MS, MA, MT-BC, received her Master’s Degree in music therapy and counseling from Drexel University, following several years’ experience as a neuroscience researcher.  She currently practices music therapy and counseling at Cancer Treatment Centers of America.  Ms. Rigby co-teaches the graduate Neuroscience course for music therapy and dance/movement therapy students at Drexel University.  She is also a registered yoga teacher with 750 hours of training and has taught for 6 years.  She teaches in studios in Philadelphia and provides yoga and meditation instruction as a form of supportive care for patients at CTCA.  She is currently working towards her 500-hour advanced yoga teaching credential.

Erin Ellis is an Accredited Financial Counselor at Philadelphia Federal Credit Union (PFCU), where she develops PFCU’s financial education curriculum, provides one-on-one counseling with members, and presents financial seminars to PFCU members and a wide network of social services organizations throughout the Philadelphia region. Erin is passionate about helping individuals and families better manage their money and achieve financial goals.

 

Felicia Porrazza

Felicia Porrazza MDA, RDN, LDN, Owner of PorrazzaNutrition
Felicia Porrazza is a Registered and Licensed Dietitian in Philadelphia, PA with a Masters degree in Dietetics Administration from Utah State University. She owns a full-time private practice, Porrazza Nutrition, where she conducts in-home and in-office counseling sessions, business coaching for dietitians and students, and corporate wellness programming. She is currently the Chair for the Women in Business Committee and Co-Chair for the Young Leadership Network for the GNPCC. Felicia also teaches nutrition at Bucks County Community College.

Felicia has run multiple programs within her business including cooking classes, support groups, walking groups, and nutrition seminars. PorrazzaNutrition is all about bringing wellness to the client, which means services are offered in-home! Felicia has found that through all of her experience, healthy living boils down to a few key points: motivation, consistency, and a long-term healthy lifestyle change. She is passionate about healthy living as a lifestyle change versus a quick-fix!

Richelle Payne

Richelle Payne, CCP, Initiative for Family Business & Entrepreneurship at Saint Joseph’s University
Richelle Payne, M.A., CCP is assistant director for business development at The Initiative for Family Business & Entrepreneurship, an innovative niche program of the Erivan K. Haub School of Business at Saint Joseph’s University, where she executes the strategy to recruit and engage members and partners. In her first year, Richelle steered a brand turnaround strategy which helped raise regional awareness and increase IFBE membership by 283%, implemented a multiyear renewal strategy, and revamped the corporate and community partner programs.

For more than 27 years, Richelle has helped private clients and employers grow their reputation and revenues through branding, strategic alliances and thought leadership. Her work helps build credibility, protect the reputation and maintain a competitive business advantage.  A former print journalist, English professor, head of college relations and executive at two family-owned firms, her expertise in reaching and engaging diverse, complex audiences at all levels of brand awareness helps clients create goodwill as they do good business.

Prior to joining St. Joseph’s, she launched and built a boutique PR firm and has worked with some of the most respected personalities and on exciting projects, including: the T.D. Jakes School of Leadership; Verizon Enterprise Solutions; former Philadelphia Eagle Walter Thurmond and his Foundation for Arts & Education; former San Diego Charger Terrell Fletcher; the John S. and James L. Knight Foundation; best-selling author and megachurch leader Van Moody; Cloud Ten Pictures; and the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association.

She has delivered training workshops in branding, reputation and crisis management, and entrepreneurship for the T.D. Jakes International Pastors and Leaders Conference (2012), the Global Acceleration Summit (2016), and What

Women Want Conference (2017). She is president emerita of the National Black Public Relations Society, Inc. (NBPRS), an alumnus of Leadership Frisco (Texas), and has served on the board of directors for the Hampton (Virginia) Jazz Festival, Hampton Bay Days, and Dress for Success Dallas. She has received awards from the Dalton Pen Company, American Corporate Video, Hampton Roads Black Media Professionals, and the Council for the Advancement and Support of Education (CASE).

Richelle holds a B.A. in English from Hampton University and the M.A. in Corporate Communication from Duquesne University. She earned the CCP (certified communications professional) designation from the AWC Matrix Foundation.


James Carty

James Carty, Chief Security Officer at Philadelphia Division, Federal Bureau of Investigations
Mr. James Carty is currently the Chief Security Officer (CSO) of the Philadelphia Division of the FBI, where he is responsible for the security program covering all functional areas of security; physical, personnel, and information.  Jim also has the Certified Information System Security Professional (CISSP) certification.  He is a veteran of 36 years in the law enforcement community and has additionally been an Adjunct Professor of Computer Information Systems (CIS) for 18 years at Community College of Philadelphia (CCP) where he has taught classes in computer networking, digital forensics, and computer and network security.  Jim has both a Bachelor of Arts (BA) and Masters of Science (MS) degree in Information Systems Management from Holy Family University.

Marta Coles, Research and Training Coordinator of Urban League of Philadelphia
Marta is currently the Research & Training Coordinator for the Urban League of Philadelphia – Entrepreneurship Center. In her role, she assists established and start-up small businesses grow to scale. Marta has also worked in the Non-profit sector for the last 7 years assisting organizations with Brand Awareness and Strategic Planning. In addition, Marta continues to hone and develop the skills of adult minorities by conducting impactful work within the community and connecting entrepreneurs to vital resources that will position them for success. Marta’s passion for helping people succeed in life and business was solidified during her time at Carin University where she studied Business Administration.
