Dr. Skenderi specializes in diagnosing and managing acute and chronic cardiovascular disease, and actively promotes a healthy lifestyle to reduce risks of a cardiac event. “Being involved in your own health is the best advice I can give,” says Dr. Skenderi. “Always ask your doctor about your blood pressure, sugar and cholesterol levels. Talk to your doctor about what these numbers mean and how you can reduce your risk for heart complications. This is especially important for people who do not see a doctor that often. ”

Dr. Skenderi is a Diplomate of American Board of Osteopathic Medicine in Internal Medicine and Cardiovascular Disease with Certification in Nuclear Medicine and Echocardiography.
