Eagles Insider Dave Spadaro has been with the Philadelphia Eagles since 1997, overseeing publications, content development and hosting television, Internet and radio shows for the team. He is well known in the Philadelphia region as the Eagles Insider with regular appearances on FOX 29, NBC Sports Philadelphia, WIP Sportsradio and various media outlets. Prior to joining the Eagles organization, Dave was the editor of Eagles Digest, the official team publication of the Philadelphia Eagles. Born in West Chester, Dave graduated from Temple University in 1987 and began his professional career with the Daily Local News in West Chester. His career highlight happened recently: Winning Super Bowl LII and serving as emcee of the Parade of Champions ceremony in Philadelphia.

Enhancing Addiction Recovery: Reducing the Stigma and Harm

Addiction is an epidemic and we still have a long way to go on changing the perception of the disease. Reducing the stigma is critical to mitigating the risks of relapse and harm and increasing the likelihood of sustained recovery.

How can we all help in reducing the negative addiction stigma? Join us for a schedule of folks in recovery, researchers, and thought leaders as they present on new resources, advocacy policies, and recovery support methods that can help drive change.

Who should attend?

First Responders, professionals, family, friends, and advocates of people in recovery and those still struggling with addiction.

As technology changes, the committee’s task is to stay current and utilize print media, Twitter, Facebook, Instagram and a new interactive web site to inform members and the public about the exciting agenda we have planned for them.

Honoring Vietnam War Veterans

In an effort to honor all area Vietnam-era veterans, the office of State Rep Martina White in conjunction with the office of U.S. Sen. Pat Toomey will join area Vietnam Veterans at a ceremony to commemorate National Vietnam War Veterans Day in Philadelphia.

During the event, Sen. Toomey and Rep. White will present commemorative pins to eligible Vietnam War veterans will be presented with commemorative pins.

Veterans who served on active duty in the U.S. Armed Forces at any time between Nov. 1, 1955, and May 15, 1975, regardless of location, will be eligible to receive a lapel pin at this ceremony. Family members are invited to attend the ceremony with veterans.
